Network-Wide Busy Signaling on optiClient Attendant 
 

Definition  
All cross-system busy signaling in a HiPath 2000 / HiPath OpenOffice EE / HiPath 3000 / HiPath 5000 network is routed exclusively to the central attendant console optiClient Attendant. The feature is available in networks with closed or open numbering.
Systems (nodes) in the network can report the operating states of selected stations to the central optiClient Attendant attendant console. The following operating states can be signaled for the telephones:
 •   Free
 •   Busy internally
 •   Busy externally
Ringing state
 •   Do not disturb (DND)
 •   Call forwarding (CF)
The status "Ringing" can only be displayed in the central node. The attendant can pickup calls via the BLF with this. Networked nodes display "Busy internally" in ringing status to prevent a call pickup.

Central Busy Signaling optiClient Attendant  
The central node stations can all be included.  
If you use the BLF server's internal attendant function, you can include all stations in the networked systems. In this case, BLF information is obtained directly from the node via TCP/IP, and not routed over CorNet-IP.
You can include all stations in the central node, irrespective of the BLF server.
