Display of name and call number in an ISDN network via the UUS service (Telefonica)

Implementing features, see also Manager E ISDN Features

Definition
In a network of communication systems over ISDN with the UUS service, the name and phone number of the calling party are to be displayed on the display screen of the called party (UUS: User-to-User Signaling). This is achieved by transferring the name and phone number in the user-to-user information element (User-to-User Information, UUI). This is added to the setup message.

Behavior
In this scenario, three communication systems are presented, which are connected via ISDN. Two of them are linked to one another via the UUS service:
The displays that appear on the screens when call forwarding is enabled depend on which communication system the individual stations are connected to and whether the ISDN network occurs via the UUS service:

Calls and forwardings
Information on the display
Stn A calls Stn C
At Stn C: From: 200 Stn A
Stn A calls Stn C and is forwarded to Stn D
At Stn D: From: 200 Stn A
Stn A calls Stn C and is forwarded to Stn D
At Stn B: From: 200 Stn C
Stn C calls Stn D and is forwarded to Stn A
At Stn A: From: 200 Stn C
Stn C calls Stn D and is forwarded to Stn A
At Stn A: From: 200 Stn C
Stn A calls Stn C and is forwarded to Stn E
At Stn E: no display
No information on the caller is displayed at Stn E, since PBX 3 is not linked to PBX 1 and PBX 2 with the UUS service. For the same reason, no caller information from Stn E is transmitted to the called station.
