Initiating Restart (Reset)

This initiates an immediate hard restart of the entire system with the current CDB.

Initiating Reload Card

This the single board (loading Loadware) to reload.

Locking out and releasing boards and ports

HiPath 3000/5000 Manager E enables you to lock out an entire subscriber line module or line circuit module and individual ports. The lockout prevents renewed seizure after the current connection has finished. Release or lockout settings are also retained after a reset.

However, you cannot lock out the first SLMO/SLU board because administration through Manager T runs on its first two ports.

When attempting to lock out the last active trunk, you are subsequently notified that remote service through the service center is no longer possible.

You cannot use HiPath 3000/5000 Manager E to release boards and ports locked out with the lockout switch.

ALUM

You cannot initiate a power failure transfer to analog telephones using HiPath 3000/5000 Manager E.
